The Corporate Mothers' Summit 2026

The Summit seeks to:

  • Acknowledge the role played by stable families in building a stable Uganda.
  • Promote practical approaches that enable women to successfully balance family and career (employer Vs workmates).
  • Celebrate the achievements and contributions of corporate mothers to nation building.
  • Advocate for family-friendly workplace relations between and their career stakeholders (employers and workmates).
  • Call upon Husbands and family members to appreciate the existent hurdles faced by corporate mothers in balancing family and work.

The Corporate Mothers Summit 2026 is more than a conference; it is a premier national platform dedicated to promoting the balance between family and career among professional women.
As a platform for dialogue, inspiration and action, it recognizes that achieving a healthy balance between family and career is not solely the responsibility of individual women but a shared responsibility of employers, policymakers, families and society.

Held in commemoration of World Breastfeeding Week 2026 (1st – 7th August), the summit recognizes that supporting corporate mothers extends beyond maternity protection. It encompasses family-friendly workplace relations, mentorship, continued family support and inclusive organizational cultures that enable mothers to thrive both at work and at home.

The Summit will convene accomplished women leaders, corporate executives, policymakers, entrepreneurs, development partners, and professionals to share experiences, inspire practical solutions and build partnerships that strengthen workplace performance and family wellbeing as essential pillars of sustainable nation building
